Excellent water bottle/sippy cup My 2yr old son picked this out by himself at REI. The salesman was trying to get him to choose a Camelback thankfully we didn't the straw splashes everyone when you unlock it and it leaks but my son refused to let go of this cup. We got home cleaned it out and filled it up with water. He loved how you could see the liquid through the cup and it was easy for him to hold. He hasn't let it out of his sight for the past three days. He carries it around eveywhere and even sleeps with it. Getting him to drink water was a struggle before but with this Nalgene bottle my prayers are answered! The bottle is easy to clean and so is the insert/cap. The whole bottle is three pieces. It's so easy to clean and doesn't leak maybe one or two drops but that's it. We've tried Nuk sippy cups splashes just like a Camelback would Klean Kanteen an excellent cup but has 5 parts to clean Sigg and Thermos. All of them leak to some extent but Nalgene Grip n Gulp comes out on top by far!! I just leanred not to put OJ in this because some pulp mght get stuck in the valve..so just water and maybe milk..
water these is a beautiful BPAfree water bottle..It is perfect gift to a baby shower..is very useful specially when you have a car seat.
Great water bottles My kids have to bring water bottles to preschool and these work great! They do not leak and they are very easy to clean.
Love these cups! I have used so many kinds of sippy cups for my daughter and these are the absolute best. First and foremost biggest thing for me they are easy to clean. No tiny little crevices where dried milk can build up and get icky. They don't stink they're dishwasher safe and they come in cute colors which is important for a picky 3 year old. She approves I approve. I won't use any other cups now.
Super Sippy I've always been a fan of Nalgene and these are no exception. They are extremely sturdy and hold a good amount of liquid but are still comfortably sized for my daughter's hands. We bought the first one at about 18 months she's now almost 2 1/2 and it's still going strong so we bought another. We have not had any issues with the valve leaking or falling into the cup while she's drinking which has happened in other cups. The wide mouth makes it easy to clean with a regular sponge or bottle brush. As others have mentioned squeeze the valve a few times before the first use to loosen it up.
Love it We have been using these for my daughter from 18 months to 3.5 years. We tried tons of sippy cups before settling on theses. They are great for several reasons. They are strong cute easy to clean and have NEVER leaked. We've abused them like crazy dropped/thrown dishwashed on both racks and chewed on these and they work and almost look like new. The valve is pretty hard to suck on which is probably why it doesn't ever leak. Now that she is older my daughter sometimes requests that we remove it so she can drink easier. Still works great just not spill proof anymore.
Well worth the price! Even those these are a little more pricey than the ones you can pick up at your everyday retail store they are so worth it! We went through several brands of 'sippy cups' trying to find one the didn't leak one that was easy to clean one that was easy to drink from and toddler proof our son is very rough with everything. Once we found these the search was over.
Great customer service I think these are great bottles but my daughter broke 2 within 4 months. I called the company to see if there was any type of warranty. They are replacing both bottles for free! They asked for a picture. I threw one bottle out so I could only send one picture but they are still replacing both.
Best Sippy Ever First of I'll say we didn't get one of these till my son was almost 2 so I can't speak for young toddlers. But my son has never had a problem drinking out of these. I'm thrifty but the longevity of these makes them a great value. Many other cups I've had I end up throwing away because they get nasty where you can't clean them or get so ragged looking. But after two years these still look pretty good and are still leak proof and don't have a babyish design for my 4year old. COuld designate these as water bottles but works good for all cold liquids.
Back for More! I bought one of these for each of my three oldest kids this time last year. They are great cups and I'm back to buy one for my daughter who just turned 1 because she keeps trying to steal theirs.
